Asbestos Abatement Corp was awarded a scope covering removal of 15,000 square feet of transite cement-asbestos wall panels and interior asbestos floor tile at an active USPS mail processing facility in Clifton, NJ.
Exterior transite was removed using low-impact, non-cutting techniques to preserve panel integrity and control fiber release, with ground-level drop zones and full perimeter controls. Interior floor tile and mastic work ran under negative-pressure containment inside the building during off-peak windows.
The project was delivered on the USPS schedule with full documentation, chain-of-custody manifests to a licensed disposal facility, and passing clearance across every work area.
